Tina gave Lone a piece of perticular chocolate like Lone had as a child. The strange thing is that Gry (Tinas sister) had done the exat same thing. This year we had Cecilie on the 24th. Tina's mum Lone was also here. We had a great evening. Cecilie melted our hearts because she had made a big effort to make us all a lot of very special presents. For Lone she had made a chess set in wood. For Tina she had made an angel relief and soldier for Neil. It was precisely in the interest of each of us. When the evening was over Cecilie talked and talked about all her favourite presents – it was pretty much all of them :-) But mainly she mentioned that we all get along so well. Neil had made roast pork and a duck with all the traditional Danish stuff to go with it, sugar taties, warm red cabbage, and crisps. The duck was stuffed with plums and apples. Yum-yum! Neil gave Tina a hand made craft angel, underwear and a new gold cross and ear rings. Tina gave Neil new clothes, pyjamas, glows and a Goodie Bag for all his hard work in the kitchen. The Godie bag is for him to bring out on ship when he's alone outthere for new year. He was even sick! Well done of Neil. On the 25 th Cecilie, Neil and Tina went to the forest and then toTina's Nanny at the old-age home with Christmas chokies. Afterwards we dined out. We called Scotland and Granny and Granddad in England when they had their Christmas lunch on the 25 th. The 26 th Neil and Tina just stayed in and Cecilie was going to her Grandma. They where going to see Granny and Grandad in England 27 th - 1 st. The Christmas is full of wonderful traditions. Some can be kept as sweet memories in a marvellously book, I was so lucky to find at the Internet. It's called Familiens Juledagbog. Our shopping every year in Danish. Our recipe for Christmas cookies in Danish.
